Aaron is a second generation General Contractor in San Diego. He has a contagious enthusiasm for all things tech, especially when those technologies and solutions power your life and improve the world. Aaron is an innovative and resourceful management professional and entrepreneur, with a broad-based construction background including residential, commercial, and military (DOD) projects. Aaron spent many years in the role of professional Construction Project Manager, managing projects that ranged from $1 million to $161 million. Many of these were remote site, high-speed and technically challenging projects with very demanding specifications and quality control requirements.
It was this background in the design-build world of big commercial project management, where procurements are based on best-value (meaning the highest quality at the lowest cost) that gave birth to Solar Symphony’s business model. Aaron spent over a decade learning and perfecting some of the most sophisticated cost and quality control systems and methodologies that industry has to offer. Then the thought came, “Hey what would happen if we applied this to the solar industry?” The answer: We’d be the most compelling value in solar energy.
Mike joined the Solar Symphony Family on 1 January 2015 and has taken on many rolls from Company Operations Manager to Southern California Sales Manager, and Marketing Manager.
Prior to Joining the Solar Symphony team Mike Defended our country in the United States Army from 1994 until his retirement in 2011. After retiring he went back to school finishing a Bachelors degree and finally a masters degree in Business (MBA).
In September 2020 Mike moved into the role of CEO now leading the team and developing new leaders in each department.
Rob is a proven operations professional, with 20 years’ experience in the construction industry leading highly technical government, military, commercial and residential projects. Rob got the solar bug 25 years ago as a young teen on a family trip to Epcot Center. Since then alternative energy has been somewhere between a hobby and an obsession for him, annoying friends family and anyone else who was fortunate enough to have to spend any significant amount of time with Rob.
A few years ago Rob was able to convert his avocation into his vocation entering the alternative energy space full time. Rob not only brings a passion for solar to the business but also a knack for value engineering and developing creative, innovative solutions to deliver value to the customer. He, like Aaron, is also fanatical about process improvement and the elimination of waste, employing six sigma and lean production management principles as well more traditional tools.
Prior to Solar Symphony Rob was the Director of Installation for the Silicon Valley solar company, Complete Solar Solution.
